But unfortunately in iOS 17 you still can’t change notification tone to something else. The new notification ringtone in the Apple is liked by some users as it is pleasant sounding and toned down.  But some iPhone users are still habitual of old notification tone are not happy with it and reporting the it is difficult to hear the new notification tone in iPhone.

The only setting you can do to increase the volume of notification tone is to go to iPhone Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringer and Alerts and drag the volume slider to the level you want.
