can’t log into snapchat because i changed my number? Read This!

Many Snapchat users are facing a common issue that they can’t log into snapchat because changed number or lost their phone. After replacing phone and phone number Snapchat users are not able to log in to the Snapchat account as Snapchat is sending verification code on the old phone number, which is not with the user anymore.

There is no other medium to reset the lost account password or get back the old password , which is very annoying as user are losing many photos saved in the account. The issue is same across different phone like iPhone 13, iPad, Samsung, Redmi etc.

Unfortunately  if you have turned on Two Factor authentication and don’t have the linked phone number then Snapchat account is lost forever. You will not be able to restore the account using email if you have not confirmed you email while creating account , you won’t be able to recover account using email also.

The only way to get back into your account is by using linked recovery methods (in this case your old phone number) or the recovery code you generated. Otherwise there is no way to recover the account and you will have to create  a new account. Also while creating new account please ensure to create recover code and save it in safe place.

If you have turn ON two factor authentication on you snapchat account then you will not be able to login to Snapchat without Phone number or email access, except if you have recovery code. Make sure to create snapchat recover code using below steps and save it in safe place like Google Drive.

1. Open Snapchat and in yourr Profile icon and tap  to go to Settings
2. Tap ‘Two-Factor Authentication’
3. Tap ‘Recovery Code’
4. Tap ‘Generate Code’
5. Enter your password to verify that it’s you!
6. Save your code and keep it safe and accessible
