Some iPhone 15,14 users are reporting issue with the iOS 18 that they can’t even access my control center after installing IOS 18
The control center or lock screen can’t be customized without the iPhone crashing—removing a button works, but when one is added, the screen immediately turns black, shows a white spinning wheel, and then returns to the lock screen. This happens every time, and no customizations can be made.
While one iPhone 15 Pro max user reported “The control center can be accessed, but nothing would open, and it wouldn’t allow being shut off.”
While other user report “can’t chamge the action button to controls too..
and can’t change or remove the lockscreen apps.. the camera and the torch either.. ”
One easy way to fix the issue is to Change your region to another English-speaking region (such as British Virgin Islands), then switch back to the United States to enable button customization.”
To toggle the region and language settings on your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Language & Region, select a new language or region, and your iPhone will restart to apply the changes.
Hope this helps to fix the control center not working issue on the iPhone 15 Pro max and other iPhones after iOS 18 update
