FC 24 Rivels Not Working “Entering a Match has been Temporarily Disabled”

Many EA FC 24 are reporting issue that the rivals is not working, and they can’t start any type of match in FC 24 UT. The issue is seen from all type of users including Xbox Series X/S and PS 5

While trying to search for a game in rivals, a pop-up message says entering a match has been temporarily disabled, we apologise for the inconvenience and expect match entry to be re-opened.  (source 1, 2)

This is annoying as the issue is from 2-3 days and point toward an issue in the EA FC 24. Specially in the play division rivals and while trying to search it says “Entering a match has been temporarily disabled, we apologise for the inconvenience and expect match entry to be re-enabled soon. Please try again later”

I’m on is PS5,  my division rivals are disabled and cannot do anything with my ultimate team like playing games etc 

I’ve had no email of any suspension or ban.

im not sure what’s gone on, I’ve contacted ea regarding this issue.

How to Fix EA FC 24 Rival not working ? XBOX/ PS

If you also facing FC 24 rival not working on XBOX and PlayStation PS5 then you are not alone, Thousands of FC 24 users are reporting the issue.

Usually such issue happens when there is a scheduled maintenance from EA sports side. During this maintenance time, you may be disconnected or unable to access online services on all platforms and match creation will be suspended.

However  there is a workaround to fix FC 24 rival not working issue. Make sure you don’t have Ada Hegerberg’s player card in your squad. There are some issues with the cardto start a match with it. If Hegerberg is in your squad then this may have disabled you from playing. Just send her back to club and it should let you play.  

EA SPORTS FC have acknowledged the issue and working on the fix. As a quick fix “Ada Hegerberg Player Item in Ultimate Draft will have their Drafts reset and will be provided with a Draft Token in the coming days.” (source EA TWITTER ).

Hopefully we will get a fix soon, Please let me know in comment section if this fixes the issue.
