How to fix Starfield flashlight not working, unable to turn ON/ OFF?

 Some players are reporting issue that the flashlight is not working in Starfield. While trying to turn on flashlight there is a click sound but  not light appears. There seem to be changes in the Starfield Flashlight working as some other players are not able to turn the flashlight OFF.

There are lots of bug reported in the recent official release of Starfield and players are not happy to see so many issues with the Game. But luckily you can fix this issue of flashing not turning ON/OFF in starfield by following steps:

If you are not able to turn ON/OFF the flashlight , please note that you need to have a helmet with a light on it  and the lights will not work with the regular hats. If your helmet  removed at some point and never noticed.

Also if you have took my helmet off while the flashlight was on, you will not be able to turn it OFF and you will have to wear the helmet.

The other thing that seems to fix flashlight issue in Starfield is instead of pressing the scanner button hold it down for a sec or two and it should work
