How to fix Face ID and passcode missing iPhone 14/13 ?

Apple is known for its security features. With new FaceId feature, the security feature of the iPhone seems to have mire user friendly and easy to use. But recently some of the iPhone 13/14/12, iPad users are facing issue that the FaceId and passcode option is not available in their iPhone.

The feature is supposed to be in every iPhone model but for some iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 users are facing issue that the FaceId and passcode is missing from the iPhone. This is not only for the new users but also some iPhone users who were able to access the FaceID feature earlier suddenly found that the feature FaceID and passcode is missing from the iPhone settings now.

How to fix FaceID and passcode not showing in iPhone settings ? : iPhone 13/14, iPad

If you are also not able to find the FaceID and Passcode setting on your iPhone then this could be due to restriction setting. If you have enabled the Restriction settings on your iPhone then you will not see the FaceID and passcode settings in iPhone.

To enable FaceID and passcode in your iPhone, go to iPhone Settings app > tap on Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Turn it off> the FaceId and passcode option should be visible now.

Why FaceID and Passcode option are missing ?

iPhone Restriction Can be enabled due to work email account configured in your iPhone. This is because the work email on iPhone can give access to IT department to your iPhone security and sometimes that caused the restrictions to change thus you may see FaceID and passcode option disappeared from the iPhone.
