How to fix “this product does not use the domain Instagram” ?

The new Instagram Shop tab is great way to connect to shoppers and buy great things from amazing sellers. But this new features in Instagram is reported with issue related to tagging the products. Many Instagram users are facing issue that while listing or tagging any product they are receiving error message,   “This product does not use the domain you selected for Instagram Shopping”. Which does not makes sense for many users as they are not aware of what this message means.

Even when the shop is approved by the Instagram and linked to the supported platforms of Instagram but still the issue exists. Tagging is one of the most common and helpful tool to attract more customer but due to this error related to “product not using domain Instagram” , many users are not able to tag the features products of their shop.

How to Fix This product does not use the domain you selected for Instagram Shopping ?

Since the shop feature is quite new in Instagram and as per some reports the error is on Facebook or Instagram’s end. But there are some solution to fix the issue. To fix  product does not use the domain Instagram, On the Instagram go to Settings–>Business–>Shopping–>Website and update the website to your new shopping site. 

Other solution is to verify domain. On your Facebook Business manager settings and verifying the domain name there. Before verifying there, please make sure to do the verification tag option so you can use that as a header code in Website > Integrations within the platform where site hosted eg Square Online.
