How to fix Right Click Not Working in Microsoft teams ?

Many Teams users are facing issue while typing a text message that right click is not working in the Teams. Right clicking in the “Type a new message” field in teams isn’t working. 

The issue is intermittent and is happening for many Microsoft Teams users. The issue sometimes get fixed but after sometime does come back. 

Some users tried removing the Teams from PC and but soon after uninstalling and reinstalling Teams the issue goes away, but after a short while Teams automatically updated and after it finished I was no longer able to right click in the message area; 

There is a workaround to fix the issue , if right click is not working then if you delete the settings.json in %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams it’ll work until you close the client next.  This is a quick workaround and easy to implement. 

Another solution is to use pop window. Just try the pop out window, which worked for right click>paste. This seems to work for many users. 

If none of the above solution helped you then you should try reinstalling the Teams. Removing teams and re-installing to version 1.4.00.16575 fixes the issue until it auto updates to the above version. 

Hopefully this bug will be soon fixed by Microsoft Teams support.
